The Elfenworks Foundation Opening Celebration ~ Friday, September 7, 2007

We were surrounded by friends as we celebrated the opening of our office space and officially 'moved in.' Kathleen Quinn and Professor David Grusky of Stanford University loaned us the big red-handled scissors and Brother President Ronald Gallagher of Saint Mary's College said a few words before we officially cut the big blue bow. Also present were friends from Mills College including Executive Vice President Ramon Torrecilha, Seema Shams of The Carter Center, Ken Tam and John Forge from Boma Systems, Paul Minorini from Boys Hope Girls Hope, Myrtle Carey of Ladera Church, Chief Van Etten, Officers Vega and Downs of the Burlingame Police Department, with K-9 Nikko, the hit of the event. Support the Burlingame Police fundraising efforts for their new K-9 [more]. [photo albums]
